 As you might expect with a book with such a name, there is some controversy surrounding this book!
Dr Kendrick pulls no punches in uncovering the myths around cholesterol. He will not be thanked by many of his peers who are “statinators”, doctors and other medical professionals who advocate the use of statin drugs.
Nor will he endear himself the the pharmeceutical companies who make billlions of dollars profit selling statin drugs.
But if you are in the position of being precsribed statins by your doctor, you would do well to read this book first! It is full of factual information which in Dr Kendrick’s words breaks down the “ad Hoc” hypothoses on which the causes of coronary heart disease (CHD) are incorrectly founded.
